HomePulse Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

HomePulse is a home maintenance assistant published by Glowymint. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your home data stays on your device, and we do not sell or share your personal information.

Data stored on your device

Everything you create in HomePulse — your home profile, maintenance tasks, appliances, warranty documents, issue reports, fridge inventory, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone. We do not operate user accounts and we do not upload this data to our servers for storage.

AI features

When you use AI Help or issue analysis, your question and the relevant parts of your home data (such as task names or appliance types) are sent over an encrypted connection to our processing server and forwarded to our AI provider (Groq, Inc.) to generate an answer. These requests are used only to produce your response. We do not use them to identify you, build profiles, or train models.

Camera

The camera is used only to scan grocery barcodes for the Smart Fridge feature. Scanning happens on your device; photos and camera frames are not uploaded.

Notifications

Maintenance reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. We do not send marketing push notifications.

Subscriptions and purchases

HomePulse Plus and Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment details. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings at any time.

What we do not do

Data deletion

Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes all of it. There is no copy held on our servers to delete.

Children

HomePulse is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
